TWO ROTORUA CASES By Telegraph.—Press Association. Rotorua, Last Night. A clerk of the Tourist Department, C. R. Edwards, was arrested this afternoon on a charge of embezzling £BO, the funds of the Government. He was remanded till Tuesday, hail 'being granted in self of £ 100 and two sureties of £5O each. Restitution has been made. At the Magistrate’s Court, E. L. Phillip was charged with fraudulently omitting to account for £7O. He was committed for trial at the Supreme Court at Hamilton on September 5.
