The Rarawa arrived from Onehunga at 6 a.un. yesterday with passengers and 150 tons of cargo,, returning north after the arrival of the mall train from the south last night. BADEN POWELL IN PORT. The Baden Powell, cargo-laden from Lyttelton and Wellington, arrived at New Plymouth at 4.20 p.m. yesterday, and is expected to return to Lyttelton to-day. TITOKI THIS MORNING. The Tltoki left Westport at 8 a.m. yesterday, and is due at New Plymouth about 7 o’clock this morning with 350 tons of Brookdale coal. She sails for Wanganui to-night. The Titoki is a new steamer of 800 tons gross and belongs to the Anchor Line. Captain Vickerman, formerly of the Regulus and one of the best known masters in the coastal service,/is in command. OFFICERS PROMOTED. Mr. T. H. Bowling, chief officer of the Katoa, who rendered signal service in rescuing the crew of the Wiltshire, has been promoted to chief officer of the Royal Mail steamer Maunganui. Mr. E. H. Wilson, second officer of the Katoa, has been promoted to chief officer, and Mr. W. Scantlebury, third officer, to second officer of the Katoa. MAUNGANUI RESUMES. The Union Company advise that the R.M.S. Maunganui is to leave Dunedin at noon today for W’eUington, where she is due to-mor-row morning in order to take the place of the Marama in the San Francisco service. The Maunganui will leave Wellington on Monday for Sydney, and is timed to sail frernn Wellington on July 11 for San Francisco, via ports. j
THE PORT LINCOLN. A cable message has been received from Panama, advising that the Port Lincoln left on June 17 en route from New York to Auckland. She is due at the northern port on July 10, and should arrive at Wellington on July 15. THE SAN FRANCISCO BOAT. ' The R.M.S. Marama, according to cabled advice received by the Union Company, left ( Rarotonga at 1 p.m. on Saturday, and is due at Wellington next Saturday morning. PORT PIRIE CLEARS MONTE VIDEO. The C. and D. Line advise that the Port Pirie left Monte Video for London on June 17. The Port Pirie left Wellington on May 26. OVERSEA MOVEMENTS London, June 10.—Arrived: Berrima; passed Periin, trawler Futurist.
