NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB.

ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the New Plymouth Club (incorporated) was held in the club rooms, Devon Street, on Monday evening. There were about 30 members present, and the president, Mr. A. K. Smart, occupied the chair. The report dealt with the work of the year, which was very satisfactory. Many improvements to the rooms had been made, and the club was now an comfortable as was possible. During the year many new members have joined, and the finances of the club are in a flourishing condition. The balance-sheet showed that the asset# amounted to £394, and the profit and loss* account showed a profit of £2flt after paying about £7O for improvements. Officers for the ensuing year wertf elected as follow: President, Mr. AA. Bennett; vice-president., Mr. A, Higgs; auditor, Mr. J. T. Davies; committee, Messrs. A. K. Smart, C. Bond, C. Allan, O. Cook, F. Honan, W. H. Haddrell, R. B. Reid, F. Whitoombe; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr. E. Humphries.
