Mr. Sastri, speaking at the Millions Club luncheon, paid he was not asking that Indians should go, like Australians, anywhere within the Empire. He did not claim absolute equality, he only asked that Indians resident in Australia should be admitted to the full rights of Australian citizenship. Mr. Sastri achieved a signal personal triumph, every one of the five hundred present madly cheering.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
