PRODUCE IN NEW ZEALAND. FIGURES FOR PAST YEAR. TARANAKI’S IMPORTANT PART. At various meetings regarding the proposed compulsory control of dairy produce, Mr. T. C. 'Brash, secretary of the National Dairy Association, used figures showing the quantities and percentages of dairy produce from the different parts of New Zealand. Mr. Brash has had several requests for these tc be sent out in the way of a circular to all members of the association, and has compiled the particulars asked for. The percentage of cheese and butter are set out, and also the production of butter-fat, as represented in both butter and cheese. The figures on which the percentages are worked are for twelve months ended March 31, 1922, and are supplied by the Dairy Division. Butter graded for year ended March 31, 1922.
