SOLDIERS CHARGE CROWD. By Telegraph.—Press Amti—Copyright. Berlin, June 12. The visits of Marshal Hindenburg to Konigsberg and of Herr Ebert to Munich were marked by incidents leading to riots and bloodshed. Herr Ebert’s arrival was greeted with hisses and cheers, and a fight followed between supporters of the Republic and the Monarchists. While Hindenburg was receiving the homage of 100,000 people, the troops met Communists holding a counter-demonstra-tion. The “Reds” attempted to 1 disarm the soldiers, who used their weapons and charged the crowd, several being killed and wounded-—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
