SHARP ADVANCE IN PRICES. Newton King, Ltd., have received a cable from their principals, R. and M. Davidson, Ltd., that there has been a sharp advance in prices of butter and cheese. This as due to fear of a drought. Salt, fresh £8 18s to £9; cheese, colored and white £4 2s to £4 4s. DANISH BUTTER. PREVENTION OF EXCESS WATER By Telegraph-—Press A-ssn.-—Copyright. In order to maintain high standards of of exports, the Ministry of Agriculture announces that it will confiscate all butter containing more than 16 per cent. of water. BUTTER AND CHEESE.
