MAN AND CHILD DROWNED. FALL FROM A LAUNCH. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. A double drowning accident occurred? in the Auckland, harbor about 4 p.m. t to-day, Robert McCready, single, aged 29, and his nephew, Blair McCready, >aged 7, being drowned. Deceased and the boy, with another child, were on a launch anchored for fishing, and while in the cabin the boy’s father heard splashes. He saw both in the water, and while he was attempting to start the engine, they disappeared. It is supposed the boy fell overboard and his uncle jumped in to rescue him. Robert McCready was a returned soldier.
