C. C. WARD, HAWERA & ELTHAM

TARANAKI METROPOLITAN AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY’S /isthX ( ANNUAL \ A IT WINTER ) \ SHOW / TO-DAY TO-DAY CHILDREN’S DAY ALL SCHOOL CHILDREN ADMITTED FOR 3d up to 5 p.m. Send the Kiddies to See the Show. CORONATION HALL, NEW PLYMOUTH

The 4 BEARD CLAW’ Dairying Revolutionised---Qreat Labour Saver The Automatic Vacuum Cut-off Milking Machine Claw. ON VIEW AT THE SHOW The only NATURAL AUTOMATIC CUT-OFF CLAW in the World. A VERY simple but effective Patent has just been put on the Market in the form of a New Style of Milking Machine Claw. The Patent lies in the construction of the Claw Tube, which is so bevelled as to immediately shut oft the Suction when the Cup is removed from the Teat The advantage of this is tremendous, for it enables the Milker to handle each Cup separately without the least danger of foreign matter being drawn into the tubes, one of the most serious menaces to dairying. With most Making Machines, Suction continues when the Teat drip falls off. This not only reduces the Vacuutn in the remainder, but, as the disengaged Cup lies on the floor, it draws in any impurities that happen to be lying about. The action of the Patent in question absolutely prevents this tor the Vacuum can only operate so long as the Cup is in position on the Teat. Immediately it falls off it is out of action, but the remainder are not affected. Handling is thus greatly facilitated bv this splendid yet very simple invention. The Rubbers are never bent nor the Cups doubled over, and thus they can be adjusted to the Teat by the merest Child. Its value in the Milking Shed is immense. This PATENT CLAW is at present on view at The UNEDA STAND at the New Plymouth Winter Show, where Demonstrations of its efficiency will be given. Mr. W. J. BRADFORD, Representative. BEARD CLAW COMPANY whose Headquarters are at MARTON. PRICE 30/With an allowance of Seven Shillings and Sixpence for every CLAW REPLACED by the “BEARD CLAW.”
