SHEEP-DOG TRIALS.
NORTH ISLAND CHAMPIONSHIPS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Whangarei, Last Night. In the North Island sheep dog the whole of yesterday and part of this morning was occupied by the shorthead and yarding championship. There were 21 competitors, only six of whom completed the run in the allotted time. Result: —G. P. Addison's (Wanganui) Pos«, 52 points; H. Buckley’s (Pukeroa) Hemp, 51; H. Milne’s (Pangateroria) Skye, 50. The weather continues fine and the conditions are excellent for the remaining trials.
