ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
LOST FROM A YACHT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. Geoffrey Hobday, aged 18, a son of Colonel H. S. Hobday, of Bealey Avenue, disappeared while yachting at Redcliffs. It is feared he fell into the deep channel in the estuary and has been drowned. A BOY DROWNED. Nelson, Last Night. Arthur Higgs, of Mapua, was accidentally drowned through falling off the Napier wharf. At the inquest a verdict of accidentally drowned was returned.
