HELIOCOPTER TESTED.

SURPASSES ALL EXPECTATIONS. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. London, June 5. The aeronautical expert of the Daily Chronicle states that secret tests of the Brennan heliocopter have been so eminently successful that the Air Ministry is” not likely to pursue the proposal to offer a prize of £50,000 for such a machine, as Brennan’s has surpassed every expectation. The Air Ministry required a machine to rise 2000 feet and to hover stationary for half an hour, and fly at a speed of 60 miles per hour. Brennan has fulfilled all these -tests and the space he needs for a take-off is little more than the heliocopter’s overall measurements. Aviation experts agree that the Brennan design revolutionises civil and military flying.
