John Kelly Kent, 65 years of age, a married laborer, working at a farm at Poolburn, comnritited suicide. He was found hanging in the stable yesterday. A WAGON ACCIDENT. Christchurch, June 2. A large furniture wagon, on the way to Christchurch from Pigeon Bay yesterday afternoon, capsized owing to the brakes failing to act. J. Peary, the driver, was injured internally, Miss Marsh broke her right arm, and Miss Gibson was injured on -the -face and head. All were admitted to the hospital. Two boys escaped injury.
