JAPAN’S EVACUATION DEMANDED. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Tok io May 31. The committee of the Japanese Federation of Labour called at the Premier’s office with a resolution demanding the immediate evacuation of Japanese troops from Siberian soil, and the Premier refused to see the delegates. The latter then called at the Foreign Office and were told the demands were impos sible until the lives and property of .Japanese residents in Siberia were guaranteed protection. The resolution was accompanied by a similar one drawn up by the British Federation of Labour.
