DAIRY PRODUCE POOL.

DANISH METHODS. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. London, May 31. A former member of the Danish Butter Committee, in an interview with a representative of the Australian Press Association, said the committee’s only function was to receive from dairy farmers, co-operative associations and exporters, their ideas of selling prices with the view of arriving at the value of the butter week by week. There was no compulsion on anyone to buy or sell at a fixed price, thus British importers could buy either direct from the producers or exporting lirms. This was the method before the war and had been resumed after peace, but for three years during the war there was Government control in respect to export price and destination.
