TRAGEDY ON A FARM.
TWO EX-SOLDIERS KILLED. MURDER AND SUICIDE. By Telegraph.—Presa Assn .—Copyright Received May 31, 5.5 p.m. Perth, May 31. At the inquest on Wynne and Edwards, two returned soldier farmers who were shot recently, a verdict was returned that Wynne, while temporarily insane, due to M’ar privations, shot Edwards and then committed suicide. Evidence was given that Wynne was sometimes queer in manner and seldom spoke to other men, and even refused to work with them.-— Aus.-NJZ. Cable Assn. A cable from Perth on May ZS stated: A returned soldier named Rogers, who, with two other returned soldiers, named Wynne and Edwards, has been fartning near Wagin, arrived in the township to-day and reported that, after hearing two shots at the homestead, he encountered Wynne, who threatened to shoot him. The police visited the farm and found Edwards shot dead in the house and Wynne, with his throat cut and fatally shot, a mile away.
