ENTERTAINMENTS.
EVERYBODY’S. PRINCESS MARY WEDDING FILM TO-NIGHT. In addition to the usual mid-week selection of pictures, the management of Everybody’s have secured the official pictures of the Princess Mary wedding for screening to-night and to-morrow. The pictures are remarkably well taken, and give a very clear idea of the magnificent and lavish nature of the arrangements in connection with the whole ceremony. Another excellent picture to be shown tonight is the Vitagraph feature “Three Seven,” starring Antonio Moreno. Based upon an attempt to solve the Utopian scheme of regenerating criminals by inoculating them with a sense of honor, “Three Sevens” is one of the finest melo dramas of its kind that has ever been screened. In “Three Sevens,” Antonio Moreno has a role requiring every ounce of latent energy and skill. Society is shown in contrast with the dens of the underworld. But with all the contrast, love is shown to be the same in all positions and stations, and the man is always the man, no matter where he is found. | Other films to be shown are a Chester | outing scenic, the Topical Budget, and a two-reel Christie comedy. THE PEOPLE’S. To-night is the last night of the Fox double-bill “■Faith” and “The Jolt.’ i Peggy Hyland, the pretty star in the • Scotch drama “Faith” captured, last , night’s audience, while Edna Murphy and I Johnnie Walker, the co-stars in “The | Jolt,” create more speed and live action , than any production in which they have ; appeared together hitherto. COMING TO-MORROW. “THE LITTLE MINISTER.” i ('harming Betty Compson gives a i charming portrayal of thte role of Lary • Babbie in the new Paramount picture ' “The Little Minister,” to be screened at i the People’s to-morrow. This photoplay production is praiseworthy in every particular and will enthuse all who see its presentation. Delightfully insouciant i Miss Compton wins favour by her. witchi ery and sparkle. George Hawthorne is i fine in the part Of Gavin, “The Little ‘ Minister,” and the other leading characi ters are all played by leading Paramount ■ stars. The picture is from Sir James M. , Barrie’s successful play and novel of the same name. The prices remain as usual.
