NEW OUTBREAK FEARED. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright Received May 30, 7.50 p.m. Peking, May 29. The resumption of hostilities between Chang Iso Lin and Wu Pei Fu on a large scale appears imminent. The i'ormei; succeeded in defeating the rebel forces Manchuria who were guarding the Chinese eastern railway. In the meantime Wu Pei Fu’s forces'are attempting to encircle Chang’s army, hoping to control the situation in Manchuria before the Japanese consider it necessary to take steps to safeguard foreign intereste.—»• Aus.-N.Z.
