Major Blake intended to go direct to Turin after leaving Paris, but he encountered a heavy fog in the Alps and lost his way for a time and decided to land at Lyons. He started again today, but, owing to slight damage to his machine, he was compelled to alight at Marseilles in the afternoon for repairs.
