TREASON CHARGE.
UNION LEADER ACQUITTED. By Telegraph.—Press Assn. —Copyright. Received May 29, 9.50 p.m. New York, May 28. At Charlestown. West Virginia, a test trial of William Blizzard, a union leader, who was charged with treason, resulted in his acquittal. Blizzard is one of nearly two hundred held on charges of treason and arson. The trials of the other accused have been postponed till later in the summer. It is not expected the State will secure any convictions on the major charge.—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn.
