NEW PLYMOUTH LOSES FIXTURE, DATES NOT SUITABLE. Ey Telefjraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Taranaki Tennis Association having advised that it was absolutely impossible to start the New Zealand tennis championship meeting at New Plymouth on December 26th, on account of all accommodation there being taken up for the Taranaki races, the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association to-night, on the motion of Air. A. G. Henderson, rescinded the resolution to hold the tournament at New Plymouth. It was decided to give the tournament to the Hawke’s Bay Association, and it is to be commenced on December 26.
