THE PEOPLE’S. LAST NIGHT OF TOM MIX IN “TRAILIN’.” When Max Brand wrote his novel “Trailin’,” he wrote a best seller. When William Fox made a motion - picture based on this novel he made what lias been described as a best seller. And tfiis picture has as its star the inimitable and strenuous Tom Mix. Mix, in “Trailin’,” which screens for. the last time to-night, has a singularly noVh’ role —for him.* He is an Easterner, ;a “tenderfoot.” That is, he starts out that way, but he quickly becomes a revelation to the ranchers of the West ■when he invades that section in search of a man whom he believes slew his father. The attraction for to-morpow is a paramount feature “White and Un-ma-rried,” starring Thomas Maighan? \ EVERYBODY’S; , \ “THE GENTLEMAN BUSHRANGER.” The roaring days of the gold rush in Australia, when life *was held cheaply and fortunes were made in a day, are faithfully represented in Beaumont Smith’s production, to be screened tonight, at Everybody’s. The standard of Australian films set by “The Lure of the Bush” and “The Man from Kangaroo” is fully upheld in this new picture. The familiar figure of Snowy Baker is missing from the cast, but it is a powerful one comprising Tai Ordell, John Cosgrove, Bobby McKinnon, Mona Mack, and the lady ’s high jump world’s’reoord holder, Miss Dot McConville. The feature has been adapted from the book “A Stripe for Trooper Casey,” and introduces all the excitement and adventure of life on the Australian goldfields in the early bushranging days. Supporting “The Gentleman Bushranger” is a sixreel feature “Girl of My Dreams,” featuring Billie Rhodes.
