LABOR WAR SENSATIONS. POLICEMEN KILLED. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received May 23, 11.55 p.m. New York, May 23. The Chicago labour war is assuming grave proportions. Two men, who were believed to ibe attempting to bomb a house in procalas of construction by non-union labour, hurled a policeman through a window, resulting in his death. Three policemen were killed by the labour forces in a. fortnight. A city court’ judge declared a state of war exists in Chicago. The Chief of Police (Mr. Fitzmorris) baa ordered all policemen to shoot labour gangsters on sight.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
