HUNTING.
NORTH TARANAKI CLUB. The North Taranaki Hunt Club held a meet at Mr. N. Skelton’s property, Motonui, on Saturday. There was a good attendance considering the number of other attractions of the day, and the party included ail the club enthusiasts. The first hare put up resulted in a splendid run across country for a distance of about three miles, eventually resulting in a kill. Some fine jumping was witnessed during the afternoon. At the conclusion of the run, thanks were expressed to Mr. Skelton for his hospitality to the members of the hunt.
