HEAVY-WEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. A huge crowd at King Edward Barracks witnessed the fight between Brian McCleary (Christchurch) and Albert Pooley (Auckland), for the professional heavy-weight championship of New Zealand, and a purse of £195. The contest went the full 15 rounds. Me- , Cleary being adjudged the winner on points. Pooley put up a good fight, but McCleary was too clever.

BLACKBURN DEFEATS GREEN. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received May 21, 5.5 p.m. Sydney, May 21. At the Stadium, Vince Blackburn knocked out Jack Green in the thirteenth round. The finish came as a surprise. Green had all the better of the contest till the thirteenth round, when Blackburn landed heavy blows right to the point of Green’s chin, and, following up, floored Green, who took the count.
