DEATH AT SEA.
MEMBER OF SHIP S CREW. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Timaru, Last Night. An inquest was held to-day concerning the sudden death of Henry Thomas Green, aged 57, a donkeyman on the steamer Wodarra, who died suddenly at son 24 hours before the steamer reached Timaru on Sunday. The evidence of the mate showed that deceased had been in good health and had never complained. At midday on Saturday he was found on his knees and head on the floor in a lavatory, and when carried out for the doctor to see him he was dead. An autopsy by Dr. Gabites revealed no possible cause of death except a small cyst on tne brain, and the doctor concluded this caused an epileptic fit and that death was due to asphyxiation through deceased falling in a fit in a position that obstructed breathing. The coroner found a verdict accordingly.
