The New inland delegates have not arrived. The Rev. Mr. Davies, in his preaiden*' tial address, dealt with the realities of Christian life, and declared that the world made no serious effort to follow Christ, because the Church did not t-epeh His way or life. The world would always and everywhere believe in the reality of self-sacrifice and brotherly • lore. It was utterly useless to speak of th—e things and to follow the pagan principles of self-assertion and selflohneas in private. The acceptance of the four Gospels in a Christian way wooid demonstrate real Christianity, and we all know it would produce a new clrareh and a new social order.
