It is stated that the Press Conference of the World lias appointed the following as chairman and vice-chairman of commissions, news and communications: Chairman, Colonel Edward F. Lawson (London Daily Telegraph); vice-chair-man, B. W. Fleisher (Tokio Advertiser); interchange of journalists, Guy Innea (Melbourne Herald) and Hallington K. Tong (Review of the East); journalistic education, K. Suginura (Tokio) and Robert Bell (Lyttelton Times, Christchurch ). The next congress? is expected to be held in 1923 in some European city, THE DRIVERS’ AWARD. Dunedin, May 9« The Conciliation Council sitting at the drivers’ dispute agreed to meet to consider the case on a Dominion basis at Dunedin on May 25. THE DAIRY POOL. Hamilton, May 9. At a meeting of the South Auckland Dairy Association, the executive agreed to recommend all associated companies to support the suggested pool as being in the best interests of producers. It also decided that advance payments for butter-fat supplied -during -"April shall be Is for cheese and first grade butter,, and lOd for second grade butter.
