WHITE GIRL’S DEATH.
MGB LYNCHES NEGROES. By Telegraph.—Press Assn. —Copyright. Received May 9, 8.15 p.m. New York, May 8. A fourth negro has been lynched as the result of the assault and death of a white girl, which previously had lead to three negroes being lynched. Governor Neff has sent troops to the district so as to assure order being maintained. Rumours are current that the negroes are banding together to take revenge for the lynchings.—Aus.-N.Z.
