London, May 4. The butter market is fairly steady, except for unsalted, of, which supplies exceed the demand. New ’Zealand choice salted is quoted at 180 s to l®2s, exceptionally good 184 s to 186 s, unsalted Australian choicest 172 s to 1745, salted 170 s.
The cheese market is weak. Best New Zealand white is worth 72b to 746, coloured 82s to 84s; Australian white 68s to 7Va, coloured 80s.—Aus.-N Z. Cable Assn.
