TROTTING. FORBURY PARK MEETING. FIRST DAY’S RESULTS By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. For the first day of the Forbury Park winter meeting to-day the weather was dull, but fine. The track was in splendid order. The totalizator handled £26,777, compared with £30,984 10s last year. Results: FIRST AMATEUR HANDlCAP.—Helenwood (Low) ■l, Snider 2, Queen Wilkes 3. From a moderate start Paul Dufault was the quickest to begin, and was never headed, though Indra and Wild Briar were always close. Paul Dufault won by a length and a half, with a short length between Indra, Wild Briar and Locanda Dillon. Tatsy Dillon was fifth. Time, 4min 33 l-ssec.
