WEDDING.

ARN OLD—-BELL. A quiet wedding was solemnised at the Presbyterian Church, Hawera, the Rev. B. H. Gray officiating. The contracting parties were Mr. Bruce Carl Arnold, fourth son of Mr. and Mrs. j-/. H. Arnold, of Nolantown, and Miss Rita Ivy Clarice Bell, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Bell, of Hamilton. The bride, who was given away by her father, looked nice in a smart braided navy costume and hat to match of navy blue and jade green, and carried a shower bouquet of. asparagus and white dahlias. The bridesmaid, Miss Olive Arnold, wore a pretty frock of wedgewood blue armuer cloth and carried a shower bouquet of asparagus and cosmas. The duties of best man were carried out by Mr. Frank Wilson, of Hawera. The happy couple left amid showers of rice and confetti for Wanganui, where the honeymoon will be spent. Star.
