OUTLET FOR MEAT.

SHIPMENTS TO MANCHESTER. GOOD MARKET OFFERED. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.-—■ Copyright. Received April 28, 5.5 p.m. London, April 27. The Australian Press Association had an interview with Mr. Jowett, who stated he considers Manchester is likely to provide an increasing outlet for Australian meat and other products if shipped in vessels actually discharging at Manchester, whose people had expended vast sums on the canal, docks and cold stores, which were magnificently equipped. Therefore, he strongly advised Australian meat producers to ship direct to Manchester. Already New Zealand was shipping there direct, and may obtain command uf the market unless Australia quickly.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
