FIRES.
HOUSE TOTALLY DESTROYED. By Teleeraph.—Press Association. Carterton, April 22. A fire at 4.23 a.m. totally destroyed a house owned by Miss Baggrey and occupied by T. M. Saudi ford. No water was available, as the premises were outside the borough. The house was insured for £375 in the Standard Office, and the furniture for £575 in the Royal Exchange. Nothing was saved.
