YOUTHFUL BURGLARS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, April 22. Three boys, two aged 15 and one 12 years, were brought before the Police Court on fourteen chargee of breaking and entering business premises. All pleaded guilty. It was stated that the young desperadoes enteral premises by breaking windows or through the skylights. Two wore committed to homes and the youngest was put on good behaviour.
THE PAHIATUA SEAT. Dannevirke, April 22. Mr. E. A. Aanson to-day consented to contest the Pahdatua seat in the interests of the United Progressive Liberal-Labor Party.
THE GISBORNE SEAT. Gisborne, April 22. With reference to the candidature of Mr. Wildish, on behalf of the United Liberal and Labor Party, for the Gisborne seat, his acceptance was made by Mr. T. M. Wilford after selection by the local committee.
ALLEGED MANSLAUGHTER. Gisborne, April 22. In connection with the death of Frances Jean McCarthy from injuries as the result of being knocked down by a motor oar, Albert Hector, Charles and Sydney Hirst Forbes appeared at the court to-day on a charge of manslaughter. Accused, who pleaded not guilty, were committed for trial.
