Received April 23, 5.5 p.m. London, April 22, Fifteen hundred Vickers employees attended a memorial service to Sir Ross Smith and Lieutenant Bennett. The congregation, which was surrounded on three sides by aeroplanes, included Sir Arthur Whitten Brown (one of the men who flew the Atlantic), and Captains Coekeril and Broome, both participants in the Cape to Cairo flight.
