Hagen and Kirkwood have' formed ai golf team to tour the world, playing exhibition matches. They will probably travel for a year. Both players are here, and are making arrangements to go to Englands where they will remain until after tha British open championships, then returning to America for the championship tournaments. After that they, propose going to Honolulu and Japan, and will also include the Philippines, Now Zealand. South Africa. India, France and Spain. It is considered the trip will be an epoch-making one, since it will be the first ever ati tempted by two golfers. It is understood two important Washington golf clubs tried to engage Kirkwood, who refused in order to make the world’s tour, but it is considered nearly certain he will accept ft - Washington position upon his return. Hagen and Kirkwood intend to make a. detailed study of the m<»t important golf courses in the world, and will i publish a book thereon. They will i probably be accompanied by an Ameri- ' can sports writer, especially expert in i golf, to aid them in this work.—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn.
