BELFAST PERILS.
> FIGHTING RESUMED. CHILDREN WOUNDED. I ‘ MANY HOMES BURNED. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received April 20, 5.5 p.m. London, April 19. Hostilities were resumed in East Belfast to-night and two women and a man were killed and four persons wounded. The trouble began as a reprisal for the murder of a boy. The mob first burned three houses in Altcar Street. The police attacked the mob with rifle fire, which then became general. Fighting occurred later in Marine Street on the dockside. Two children were seriously wounded and sent to hospital. Incendiary fires are reported elsewhere in Belfast. Order was eventually restored and troops are patrolling the disturbed areas. Between forty and fifty families are homeless as a result of the fire in Antigua Street, Belfast. The military are now in control of the district. The casualties in the fighting in Marrowbone yesterday amount to three killed and sixteen wounded. Firing broke out again this morning and a youth was killed, but the military queHed the outbreak.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. A BRUTAL MURDER. ACCUSED OF SPYING. Received April 20, 5.5 p.m. London, April 19. John Collins, a Catholic ex-service man, in Pamelton. Donegal, was taken out of his house by armed men, mortally shot and left on the foadside. He crawled home, but died. Collins was accused of spying against the rebels.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. REBELS ATTACK BARRACKS. London, April 19. A midnight attack was made on the Wellington barracks, Dublin, occupied by Free State troops. Six of the attackers were captured with a motor car and one sentry was wounded.
