Sir Keith Smith cabled to his mother advising that Sir Ross’ body will not ,be brought to Australia. His mother replied that, unless there were strong grounds for not doing so, she and her husband desire the remains to be buried in Adelaide. Received April 18, 11.15 p.m. Melbourne, April 18. Sir Keith Smith has cabled to his mother, stating that he is leaving in three weeks with the bodies of Sir Ross Smith and Lieut. Bennett, for interment in Aus-tralia.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
