. . TRAIN STRIKES CART. A collision occurred at the Durham Road railway crossing yesterday morning, when the early north-bound goods train crashed into a cart driven by Mr. F. Holland, of Durham Road. Mr. Holland was returning from the factory and evidently attempted to cross the line, but the engine struck the cart and smashed it to atoms. Holland was badly shaken, but not seriously hurt, and after receiving attention at Inglewood was able to proceed home. The cart and milk cans were smashed and strewn about the line.
