CHARGE AGAINST RUSSIAN.
ALLEGATIONS OF MURDER. By Telegraph,—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received April 16, 11.40 p.m. Washington, April 15. Serba tor Borah telegraphed the Federal district attorney at New York: “Is there any possibility by which Seminoff can be held for the murder of American soldiers in Siberia. The evidence seems very clear.” A correspondent adds that the Senate committee subpoenaed. Bakhmetieff, Czarist ambassador to the United States, to testify. It is alleged Seminoff came to the United States at the invitation of Bakhmetieff, who assured the State Department that Seminoff was not objectionable, and therefore he was admitted into the country. —Aus.-N.Z.
