THE HOLIDAYS.
ATTRACTIONS FOR TO-DAY. Holiday-makers in Taranaki should find plenty of attraction in the numerous fixtures arranged for to-day (Eas-? ter Monday). The Waimate Trotting Club’s annual meeting to be held on the Hawera racecourse will no doubt prove a popular gathering. Sports meetings are being held at Waitara and Ratapiko, and the golf tournament at the •New Plymouth Club’s links at Waiwakaiho will 'be carried a further stage. Kawaroa Park promises to be the centre of a big gala day, and picnickers will also have the many facilities at Ngaere Gardens at their disposal for a day out-of-doore.
