Mrs. Ross, who stated she had sold her house and now had money to appeal to the Privy Council, tearfully appealed for the reprieve of her son, Collin Boss, to the Attorney-General, who said he could hold out no hope, and she would only waste time and money attempting to proceed further. Mrs, Ross stoutly protested her son’s innocence.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.

(Ross, found guilty of the murder of the girl Tirtsehke, unsuccessfully appealed to the High Court, and he is to be executed.)
