The Lord Mayors’ conference assembled at the Dublin Mansion House this afterpoon, but no agreement resulted and the conference adjourned until Wednesday. It is officially announced that all parties to the conference desire no interference by way of public meetings. LABOR AND MILITARISM. London, April 12. The Irish Labor Party has issued a manifesto condemning the reintrodnetion of militaristic methods, stating that they would use all the force at their command to ensure that the armed forces of the country would be amenable to civilian authority and responsible to the people. “If the country is to resume warfare, we will endeavor to ensure that it is -for something worth while for the workers.”
