WIFE AS A CHARWOMAN. By Telegraph.—Press Assn —Copyright. Received April 13. 11.30 p.m.. Melbourne, April 12. In the Divorce Court, a man named Meikle, who is being sued for divorce by his wife, is in reality Sir Hector Douglas Mackenzie Meikle. Bart., who is working as a gardener. After lie succeeded to the title in 1916 he continued to cycle to work daily, apparently more concerned with flowers than with nis new honor. In her petition, Lady Meikle stated she purchased their home with money saved from her wages as a charwoman, which occupation she followed shortly after her marriage in 1916, and continued tc follow ever since.—Aus.-N.Z.
