The Rarawa arrived at New Plymouth from Onehunga on Thursday morning, but failed to connect with the mail train, though passengers were able to proceei! on the 7.43 ajm. train. The vessel also brought 80 tons of cargo and 11 frotters for the Waimate Plains meeting. The vessel returned north on Thursdaj- night, being due here again on Wednesday morning. KAKAPO IN PORT, The Kakapo arrived from Whangarei shortly after noon yesterday with 310 tons of cement for New Plymouth. She will not load cheese for transhipment, as. originally arranged, but will sail for Wellington and Greymouth about two o’clock this afternoon to discharge the balance of her cement cargo. KAHIKA ARRIVES. The Kahika arrived from .southern ports with about 500 tons of general cargo just after nightfall last evening. From here she takes TOGO crates of cheese for transhipment to a Homeward loading vessel at Wellington, .to which port she is expected to sail on Tuesday. CORINNA’S MOVEMENTS. The Corinna was due at Wellington yesterday from Dunedin, Oamaru. Tlmaru. and Lyttelton.
