The Amateur Athletic Council has received advice from Australia that Munro’s shot-put, 46ft. %in., and Sutherland’s javelin throw, 172 ft. lin., have been passed as Australasian records, also tliat the proposed abolition of the one and three mile walks In the championships was rejected.
Tie council passed Is. 15. Wilson's 120 yards hurdles (12 hurdles) in 15 l-ssec. at Wanganui, and Oosterlaak’o 220 yards in 21 4-ssee. at Wellington as New Zealand records, and will apply to ii-ave them recognised as Australasian records.
