AN EARTHQUAKE FELT. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received April 11, 11.15 p.m. Sydney, April 11. An earthquake was felt at Melbourne. The shock was also recorded at Sydney and Hobart. N.S.W. MINISTRY RESIGNS. Received April 11, 11.30 pm. Sydney, April 11. A special Cabinet meeting was held at Mr. Dooley’s bedside, at which it was decided that the Ministry should resign on Thursday.
HINDUS IN FIJI. Received April 11, 11.30 p.m. Sydney, April 11. The Indian Commission, which inquired into the conditions of Hindus in Fiji, has returned. They declined to make known the result of their investigations until they have submitted their report to the Indian Government.
