LATEST LONDON PRICES. Messrs. Newton King, Ltd. have received the following cable from Messrs. R. and W. Davidson, Ltd.:— Butter.—Stock value nominally 184 s, 190 s. Market much quieter and lower price expected. Cheese.—Colored 945, 965; white 80s, SBs. Market weak. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have received the following cablegram from their London house under date 7th instant: — Butter.—New Zealand. 180 s to 184 s per cwt. Market dull with downward tendency. Cheese.—9os to 98s per cwt. Market slow. RETAIL PRICE OF BUTTER. INCREASE OF TWOPENCE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. The retail price of .butter has increased by twopence, making one company’s brand Is 8d and another’s Is 6d for first grade.
