N.S.W. POLITICS

THE PREMIER RESIGNING. LABOR MEMBER DISCIPLLNIED. By Telegraph.—-Press Assn.—Copyright. Sydney, April 8. The Governor will visit Mr. Dooley in the private hospital to-day, and it is understood his resignation will be handed in and Sir George Fuller will probably be commissioned to form a Ministry early next week. The executive of the Australian Labor Party expelled Mr. Catts by 18 votes to 13, after a stormy meeting. No official explanation is given, but it is generally believed that the action was prompted by a candid article by Mr. Catts in a Sunday newspaper, in which he endeavored to fix the blame for the Labor defeat on the executive. It is officially stated that members of the Catholic Federation and Loyal Orange Lodge are ineligible to join the Labor movement.
